Sign

Sign adds a visible signature only, which anyone can copy. To prove who signed and detect later changes, use Sign with Certificate.

Add a signature#

  1. Open your PDF and pick Sign from the tool picker.
  2. Under Your signatures, click New signature and create it on one of the tabs:
    • Draw - sign with a mouse, trackpad, pen or finger.
    • Type - type your name and pick a style. Tick Also save my initials to save your initials too.
    • Upload - add a PNG, JPG or WebP image. White backgrounds are removed automatically.
    • Phone - scan the QR code, sign on your phone, and the signature appears in the app.
  3. Tick Save to my signatures to keep it, and Make default if you want. Click Use signature.
  4. Click the PDF to place the signature. Place it as many times as you need, on any page. Drag a placed signature to move or resize it.
  5. Click Apply N signatures. The signed PDF replaces the original in your workspace.
